Family Child Care providers are warm, loving, and enthusiastic individuals who love children. FCC providers care for children of all ages and abilities. They accept children in various developmental stages and have individually appropriate activities and equipment for all children. No more than six children may be cared for in the home at any given time.
Affiliated Family Child Care Homes (off base) must meet Air Force requirements for the home day care license.
All military Family Child Care providers have the privilege to operate a business in their home. They support the USAF mission by caring for children of our military and civilian personnel.
Buckley Air Force Base now has Extended Duty Care for mission related work for longer hours, evenings, overnight, weekends, or temporary shift change not to exceed three days. Families wha are currently enrolled in the Child Development Centers, Family Child Care, or School Age Programs are eligible for this care. Request for this care requires supervisor and Family Child Care Coordinator verification prior to enrollment.
